Data Resilience

Meaning

Data resilience is the ability of data and the services that use it to remain available, accurate and recoverable despite failures, cyberattacks or operational mistakes. It goes beyond simple backup to include architecture, governance, monitoring, security controls and recovery testing. The prevailing view is that data resilience is a continuous capability embedded in operations, not a one-time disaster recovery project or a single tool.

Why It Matters

Data Resilience is important in modern data and cyber resilience because it shapes protection, monitoring and recovery design.
